Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Beth Seymour

Mrs. Beth Seymour is the Teacher Academy Instructor for Jackson County Technology Center and is the assistant tennis coach for Vancleave High School. She has been teaching for 12 years. She has taught 4th grade ELA, gifted (WINGS), and robotics. 

In 2004, she graduated with an Associates in Arts from MGCCC where she was the captain of the Perkette Dance team. In December of 2007, she graduated from USM with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Elementary Education. In 2012, she graduated from William Carey University with a Master’s degree in Gifted Education. In December of 2019, she became a Nationally Board Certified teacher. 

She is married to Mr. JD Seymour. Together, they have two wonderful boys, Braxton and Jace. Outside of school, she and her family are active in their church, working with children and adult ministries. They also enjoy fishing, playing tennis, watching movies, playing cards and board games in their spare time.
