Lead Secondary School Counselor's Biography
Melissa (Missy) Sherwood is the Jackson County School District Lead Secondary School Counselor for the 2019-2020 school year. She has been married for 14 years and is the mother of 4 children. She obtained an Associates Degree from East Central Community College, a Bachelors of Science in English Education from Delta State University, a Masters of Education from William Carey University, and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi. She started her teaching career at St. Martin in 2004 and transitioned into counseling in 2014.
When not on the baseball fields with her boys, she is very involved in her church, loves to run, and considers Disney World her second home.
